Mr. Kennedy is an Advisor to Highmore. 

Mr. Kennedy is deeply engaged in the global sustainability and renewable energy infrastructure investment spaces.  He is a longtime venture partner and senior advisor to VantagePoint Capital Partners; senior advisor to Starwood Energy Group; and a board director for numerous breakthrough clean technology companies.

Mr. Kennedy has served as Senior Attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, Chief Prosecuting Attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper, and as a Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney at Pace University’s renowned Environmental Litigation Clinic. Earlier in Mr. Kennedy’s career he served as an Assistant District Attorney for the city of New York.

Mr. Kennedy has worked on environmental issues across the Americas and has assisted several indigenous tribes in Latin America and Canada in successfully negotiating treaties protecting traditional homelands. He is credited with leading the fight to protect New York City’s water supply. The New York City watershed agreement, which he negotiated on behalf of environmentalists and New York City watershed consumers, is regarded as an international model in stakeholder consensus negotiations and sustainable development.

Mr. Kennedy has published multiple New York Times’ bestsellers and his articles have appeared in many of the world’s leading publications.


Mr. Kennedy is a graduate of Harvard University. He studied at the London School of Economics and received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. Following graduation he attended Pace University School of Law, where he was awarded a Masters Degree in Environmental Law.

Dr Peter Collett is an Advisor to Highmore.

Dr Collett acts as a Senior Advisor to Highmore focused on the application of behavioral research to the selection of investment teams and the relationship of behavior to investment performance.  Peter is a behavioral psychologist and a former Oxford professor.  For many years Peter was a member of staff at the Department of Experimental Psychology at Oxford University, where he taught and conducted research. While at Oxford University Peter also supervised PhD research, in which capacity he supervised Highmore Partner Brian Altenburg’s PhD research which forms a basis of Highmore’s investment approach.

During Peter’s tenure at Oxford and subsequently, Peter has made numerous appearances in various television documentaries in the United Kingdom and abroad. Dr. Collet’s books include Gestures: Their Origins and Distribution, Driving Passion: The Psychology of the Car, Social Psychology at Work (edited with Dr Adrian Furnham), and Foreign Bodies: A Guide to European Mannerisms. Peter’s latest book is The Book of Tells: How To Read People’s Minds From Their Actions, which has been published in ten countries.

Dr Collett’s latest book formed the basis of Body Talk, an award-winning two-part TV series that he presented on Channel4 in the United Kingdom. Beyond Peter’s research and publication he has provided consultancy and completed behavioral research projects for major financial institutions such as Barclays, Invesco Perpetual, J.P. Morgan and HSBC focusing on the application of behavioral research to the investments realm. Dr Collett holds his doctoral degree from Oxford University.

Dr Ben Caldecott is an Advisor to Highmore.

Dr Ben Caldecott is the founding Director of the Oxford Sustainable Finance Programme at the University of Oxford Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. The Oxford Sustainable Finance Programme is a multidisciplinary research centre working to be the world's best place for research and teaching on sustainable finance and investment. He is concurrently an Adviser to The Prince of Wales's Accounting for Sustainability Project, an Academic Visitor at the Bank of England, and a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. Ben specialises in environment, energy, and sustainability issues and works at the intersection between finance, government, civil society, and academe, having held senior roles in each domain.

 

Ben has authored and edited a substantial number of publications related to the environment and is an experienced media commentator and public speaker. He is also a regular peer reviewer and has a number of board and advisory panel appointments, including with the City of London Green Finance Initiative, University of Oxford Socially Responsible Investment Review Committee, Green Alliance, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and the Natural Capital Finance Alliance.

 

Prior to joining the University of Oxford he was Head of Policy at investment bank Climate Change Capital, where he ran the company's research centre and advised clients and funds on the development of policy-driven markets. Ben has previously worked as Research Director for Environment and Energy at the think tank Policy Exchange, as Head of Government Advisory at Bloomberg New Energy Finance, as a Deputy Director in the Strategy Directorate of the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change, and as Sherpa to the UK Green Investment Bank Commission.

 

Ben holds a doctorate in economic geography from the University of Oxford. He initially read economics and specialised in development and China at the University of Cambridge and the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He has been a Visiting Scholar at Peking University and held Visiting Fellowships at the University of Oxford, the University of Sydney, and the University of Melbourne. Ben is also a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society and Royal Geographical Society, a Senior Associate Fellow at Bright Blue, and a Member of the Senior Common Room at Oriel College, Oxford.

Charles A. Myers

Charles is an Advisor to Highmore.

Charles Myers was most recently Vice Chairman of Evercore ISI and a member of Evercore ISI's Executive Committee and Investment Policy Committee. He was the founding partner of Evercore's Institutional Equities business.

 

Prior to Evercore, Charles was a Managing Director and Global Head of Equities at Fox-Pitt Kelton. Charles joined Fox-Pitt Kelton in 2004 and held a number of senior positions during his tenure. As Global Head of Equities, he was a Board member and was responsible for research, sales and trading of all equities products across the United States, Europe and Asia. Charles has over 25 years’ experience in global equities markets, having worked previously at UBS.

 

 

Charles serves on the Board of the Central Park Conservancy, the Board of the Mayor’s Fund for NYC, and previously served on the NYC Host Committee for the Democratic Convention.

 

 

Charles grew up in Libya, Peru and Indonesia, has a B.A. from Amherst College in Massachusetts and a post-graduate M. Phil degree from Cambridge University in England.
